Accruals to Series VI: Newsletters, 1935 - 1968
This series contains printed and mailed newsletters produced by the Sisters of the Holy Family, most significantly “Gleanings” (1935-1969), “Bridges” (1983-2000), and the “Update” Newsletter (2000-2016).

Series I: Catholic Infrastructure, 1840-2018
This series consists of historic information on California dioceses, archdioceses, and California bishops and archbishops. Notable materials include information regarding the Pope’s visit to California. The majority of the materials are secondary sources such as books, histories and newspaper articles.
Series II: Archives and Art Research, 1874-2012
This series consists of research materials on the history of the Archdiocese of San Francisco and the history of the Sisters of the Holy Family. The materials contain correspondence, staff information, property holdings, procedures and policies, research notes, artifact appraisals, newsletters, and articles.
Series III: Card Catalogs, 1980-1990
This series contains the card catalogs for research. The card catalogs cross referenced sisters, individual members of parishes, and saints that were named within the gleanings, annals and letters. The original gleanings can be found Collection 2, Series VI: Newsletters. The original annals can be found in Collection 1, Series V: Annals.
Series IV: Transcriptions, 1922-2010
This series contains transcriptions of the annals, oral histories, and writings of the sisters. The oral histories are from sisters or family and friends of the sisters. The writings are compiled from newspaper clippings, journals and letters. Most notably there are some writings and oral histories that pertain to founding members.
